<h3>Testing of materials and objects that come into immediate contact with food</h3>Materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and beverages (Food Packaging and Food Contact Materials- FCM), are those materials and objects that are already in contact with food and drink or can reasonably be expected to come into contact with them.Such materials and articles may not alter the food and beverages with which they are in contact or endanger human health, and they are recognised as:<ul><li>Packaging that protects food,</li><li>Machines that process food,</li><li>Equipment used for storing, cooking and consuming food.</li></ul>Testing of the migration of materials and articles that come into contact with food, include overall (global) migration and/or specific migration. <h3>Testing mineral oils MOSH/POSH, MOAH, PAO in packaging</h3>Today, mineral oil is found in various food products, as it can get into the product, as well as in raw materials anywhere in the food processing and retail chain. Potential sources are fuels, exhaust gases, lubricating oils, anti-dust agents, surface treatment agents, lot oils, packaging materials, etc. Manufacturers, food distributors and laboratories are trying to detect the source and point of contamination.Food groups in which we can find mineral oils include rice, cereal flour, cereals, chocolate products, spices, fats and oils as well as additionally processed foods.Mineral oils are mainly complex hydrocarbon mixtures (C10 to C50) of mainly fossil origin. The mineral oils that are tested consist of Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons (MOSH) as well as up to 50% of Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons (MOAH).&nbsp;MOAHs are complex mixtures of compounds with different and mostly unknown toxicity. With fractions of mineral oils MOSH and MOAH, the so-called POSH (polyolefinic oligomeric saturated hydrocarbons) as well as PAO (poly alpha olefins) are increasingly coming into the spotlight. POSHs are oligomer substances that potentially migrate from plastic packaging (PE and PP). PAOs are synthetic isoparaffins with short main and long side chains used, for example, in synthetic lubricants and adhesives.Despite a number of measures aimed at avoiding mineral oils, the values of possible mineral oil residues remain at the level that we can determine by testing. Since there is a tendency to an increasing number of false positives, the question arises about the testing methods that check the presence of mineral oils. There are several possible sources of heavy metals and elements, including compounds, printing, food processing, filling and recycling. Metal ions or metal-containing substances may be present as non-intentionally added substances (NIAS), so studies identifying inorganic NIASs are crucial for the safety of food contact products or materials.There are several relevant guidelines to consider, for example, in Europe, Resolution CM/Res (2013), the Technical Guide on metals and alloys used in food contact materials, is widely recognised and used as a reference for the safety and quality of food packaging made of metals and alloys, and specific discharge limits are set for each element. Regulation (EC) 10/2011 (Regulation (EU) 2020/1245), introduced migration restrictions for additional substances containing metals migrating from plastic materials and objects. Plastic materials and articles may not release the following substances in quantities exceeding the limits of a specific migration: aluminium, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, calcium, chromium, cobalt, copper, europium, gadolinium, iron, lanthanum, lead, lithium, magnesium, manganese, mercury, nickel, potassium, sodium, terbium and zinc. <h3>Testing mineral oils MOSH/POSH, MOAH, PAO in packaging</h3>&nbsp;Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) are chemical compounds primarily derived from crude oil, but they can also be synthetically produced (from coal, natural gas, and biomass). POSH are not part of MOH but can be present in polyolefin plastics (such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP)).&nbsp;In food products, these hydrocarbons can be found as a result of environmental contamination, during the manufacturing process, or through food additives and materials that come into contact with food. Food manufacturers and distributors, as well as analytical laboratories, face significant challenges when trying to clarify the source and point of contamination.&nbsp;The presence of saturated (MOSH – Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons) and aromatic (MOAH – Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons) mineral oil hydrocarbons in paper and cardboard packaging for food and hygiene products is a contemporary issue. Food groups in which mineral oils can be found include rice, grain flour, cereals, chocolate products, spices, fats, oils, and further processed foods.&nbsp;Mineral oils can currently be found in various food products. They can enter the final product, as well as the raw materials, at any point in the food production, processing, and distribution chain. The main source of mineral oil compounds in paper and cardboard that can migrate into food products is the inks used for printing, which are applied directly to the packaging or introduced during recycling processes that do not fully remove them.&nbsp;Migration of mineral oil hydrocarbons from packaging into packed products occurs through direct contact or via the gas phase, with evaporation from the packaging and subsequent condensation in the packed product.&nbsp;Sample Control is one of the leading laboratories in this part of Europe for testing mineral oil hydrocarbons in both food and materials and articles intended for food contact. <h3>Testing of primary aromatic amines in materials and articles that come into immediate contact with food (FCM)</h3>Testing of the migration of primary aromatic amines from materials and articles that come into immediate contact with food products is carried out because some primary aromatic amines are known to have carcinogenic properties, while others are suspected to be carcinogenic. These substances can therefore pose a health risk if they migrate from food contact materials to food. Primary aromatic amines are used in the production of azo pigments such as certain yellow, orange and red dyes, but they can also be present in inks as impurities of pigments or decomposition products. Primary aromatic amines have been detected in plastic materials that come into contact with food, but also in paper and cardboard food packaging. In Europe, all food contact materials and objects must comply with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and Regulation (EC) 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. Regulation (EC) No. 10/2011 has been amended and supplemented to include the primary aromatic amines listed in 'the Azocolourants entry' of the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. They should not migrate or be released from plastic materials and articles into food or model solution during testing. <h3>Testing of primary aromatic amines in materials and articles that come into immediate contact with food (FCM)</h3>Testing of the migration of primary aromatic amines from materials and articles that come into immediate contact with food products is carried out because some primary aromatic amines are known to have carcinogenic properties, while others are suspected to be carcinogenic. These substances can therefore pose a health risk if they migrate from food contact materials to food. Primary aromatic amines are used in the production of azo pigments such as certain yellow, orange and red dyes, but they can also be present in inks as impurities of pigments or decomposition products. This applies not only to drinking water, but to all water resources (surface and underground water, process and waste water, etc.).Water quality is crucial for many different industries and activities in all countries of the world.Water testing in Sample Control laboratories includes a whole range of different methods from numerous physical-chemical, microbiological analyses, analysis of inorganic compounds, metals and heavy metals, analysis of organic compounds, pesticides and rare residues. <h3>Water for human consumption</h3>The area of healthiness of water for human consumption in the Republic of Croatia is determined by the Law on water for human consumption and the Ordinance on conformity parameters, analysis methods, monitoring and safety plans for water for human consumption and the way of keeping a register of legal entities that perform the activity of public water supply. According to current regulations, water intended for human consumption is:<ol><li>all water that, in its original state or after treatment, is intended for drinking, cooking, food preparation or other household needs, regardless of its origin and regardless of whether it originates from the public water supply system, from cisterns or from bottles or containers for water,</li><li>all water used in food production industries for the purpose of production, processing, preservation or placing on the market of products or substances intended for human consumption, unless the competent authority determines that the quality of the water cannot affect the healthiness of the food in its final form.</li></ol>Water for human consumption should meet other quality criteria determined by legislation, in addition to being healthy. Healthy water is water that does not contain microorganisms, parasites, their developmental forms, as well as harmful substances that alone or in synergy with other substances represent a health hazard. Monitoring of parameters according to the prescribed values through all stages of the water supply system, from the water pumping station itself to the consumer, enables ensuring the health and appropriate quality of the water.The Law on Water for Human Consumption transfers the recommendations of Council Directive 1998/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption. Prema važećim propisima, voda namijenjena za ljudsku potrošnju je:<ol><li>sva voda koja je u svojem izvornom stanju ili nakon obrade namijenjena za piće, kuhanje, pripremu hrane ili druge potrebe kućanstava, neovisno o njezinom porijeklu te neovisno o tome potječe li iz sustava javne vodoopskrbe, iz cisterni ili iz boca odnosno posuda za vodu,</li><li>sva voda koja se rabi u industrijama za proizvodnju hrane u svrhu proizvodnje, obrade, očuvanja ili stavljanja na tržište proizvoda ili tvari namijenjenih za ljudsku potrošnju, osim ako nadležno tijelo ne utvrdi da kakvoća vode ne može utjecati na zdravstvenu ispravnost hrane u njezinom konačnom obliku.</li></ol>Voda za ljudsku potrošnju osim zdravstvene ispravnosti treba zadovoljiti i ostale kriterije kvalitete određene zakonskom regulativom. Zdravstveno ispravna voda je voda koja ne sadrži mikroorganizme, parazite, njihove razvojne oblike kao niti štetne tvari koje same ili u sinergiji sa drugim tvarima predstavljaju opasnost za zdravlje. Monitoring parametara prema propisanim vrijednostima kroz sve faze vodoopskrbnog sustava, od samog vodocrpilišta do potrošača, omogućuje osiguravanje zdravstvene ispravnosti i prikladne kvalitete vode.Zakon o vodi za ljudsku potrošnju prenose se preporuke Direktive Vijeća 1998/83/EZ o kvaliteti vode namijenjene za ljudsku potrošnju. Dodatno Pravilnikom o parametrima sukladnosti, metodama analize, monitoringu i planovima sigurnosti vode za ljudsku potrošnju te načinu vođenja registra pravnih osoba koje obavljaju djelatnost javne vodoopskrbe, propisuju se pravila, dinamika i parametri koji se moraju ispitivati.Sukladno navedenim propisima laboratorij Sample control je rješenjem Ministarstva zdravstva ovlašteni laboratorij za ispitivanje vode za ljudsku potrošnju. <h3>Voda za ljudsku potrošnju</h3>Područje zdravstvene ispravnosti vode za ljudsku potrošnju u Republici Hrvatskoj utvrđeno je Zakonom o vodi za ljudsku potrošnju i Pravilnikom o parametrima sukladnosti, metodama analiza i monitorinzima vode namijenjene za ljudsku potrošnju.&nbsp;Prema važećim propisima, voda namijenjena za ljudsku potrošnju je:<ol><li>sva voda, bilo u njezinu izvornom stanju ili nakon obrade, koja je namijenjena za piće, kuhanje, pripremu hrane ili druge potrebe domaćinstva i u javnim i u privatnim prostorima, neovisno o njezinu podrijetlu te o tome isporučuje li se iz vodoopskrbne mreže, cisterne ili se stavlja u boce ili ambalažu, uključujući izvorsku i stolnu vodu</li><li>sva voda koja se u poslovanju s hranom upotrebljava za proizvodnju, obradu, očuvanje ili stavljanje na tržište proizvoda ili tvari namijenjenih za ljudsku potrošnju</li></ol>Voda za ljudsku potrošnju osim zdravstvene ispravnosti treba zadovoljiti i ostale kriterije kvalitete određene zakonskom regulativom. Zdravstveno ispravna voda je voda koja ne sadrži mikroorganizme i parazite i njihove razvojne oblike u broju koji predstavlja opasnost za zdravlje ljudi, ne sadrži štetne tvari u koncentracijama koje same ili zajedno s drugim tvarima predstavljaju potencijalnu opasnost za zdravlje ljudi, ne prelazi vrijednosti za mikrobiološke i kemijske parametre zdravstvene ispravnosti vode i parametre ispravnosti kućne vodoopskrbne mreže propisane Pravilnikom te kroz provedbu svih monitoringa, aktivnosti iz pristupa za sigurnost vode temeljenog na riziku i drugih mjera propisanih Zakonom o vodi za ljudsku potrošnju ne utvrdi nesukladnost.&nbsp;Zakonom o vodi za ljudsku potrošnju u hrvatsko zakonodavstvo preuzeta je Direktiva (EU) 2020/2184 Europskog parlamenta i Vijeća od 16. prosinca 2020. o kvaliteti vode namijenjene za ljudsku potrošnju. Dodatno Pravilnikom o parametrima sukladnosti, metodama analiza i monitorinzima vode namijenjene za ljudsku potrošnju, propisuju se parametri sukladnosti vode koji obuhvaćaju: parametre zdravstvene ispravnosti (mikrobiološke i kemijske), indikatorske parametre, parametre ispravnosti kućne vodoopskrbne mreže, parametre operativnog praćenja i parametre radioaktivnih tvari u vodi, vrijednosti parametara sukladnosti (maksimalno dopuštena koncentracija), vrste i opseg analiza uzoraka te učestalost uzimanja uzoraka vode za provedbu monitoringa, zatim vrste i opseg analiza te broj potrebnih uzoraka vode namijenjene u svrhu ispitivanja njezine zdravstvene ispravnosti u građevinama prije izdavanja uporabne dozvole, metode uzorkovanja i mjesta (točke) uzorkovanja, metode analize (laboratorijskog ispitivanja) vode namijenjene za ljudsku potrošnju.Sukladno navedenim propisima laboratorij Sample Control je rješenjem Ministarstva zdravstva ovlašteni laboratorij za ispitivanje vode za ljudsku potrošnju. <h3>Natural mineral and spring waters, table water</h3>Spring water is originally pure natural water, and it is obtained from underground reservoirs from one or more natural or drilled sources protected from all types of pollution. The composition, temperature and other characteristics of spring water must be constant within the framework of natural changes. They must not be changed in the event of a change in the yield of the source. Spring waters, as well as natural mineral waters, may not be disinfected, nor may their chemical composition be changed. In addition to drinking, spring water can be used for the production of non-alcoholic beverages. Carbon dioxide can be added to the spring water, which is indicated on the declaration as "carbonated spring water".&nbsp;Natural mineral water springs from underground reservoirs protected from any pollution, and is obtained from one or more natural or drilled springs. It is distinguished by its organoleptic and physico-chemical properties. It has a beneficial effect on the human body because it contains mineral substances and trace elements that the human body does not produce. The composition, temperature and other characteristics of natural mineral water must be constant, i.e. within the framework of natural changes, especially in the case of an increase in the yield of the source. The composition of each natural mineral water is specific, and it is related to the geological structure of the terrain.&nbsp;Table water is chemically and/or mechanically purified water produced from drinking water with the addition of one or more permitted substances for the purpose of improving organoleptic properties. It is allowed to add the following substances to drinking water for the purpose of producing table water: sodium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, sodium hydrogencarbonate, magnesium carbonate, sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, sodium fluoride and carbon dioxide. All added substances must meet the requirements for use in the food industry according to special regulations.&nbsp;The placing on the market of natural mineral, spring and table waters is regulated by the Law on Agriculture and the Ordinance on natural mineral, natural spring and table waters. The Sample control laboratory performs testing using various techniques and methods:<ul><li>microbiological parameters,</li><li>chemical parameters,<ul><li>heavy metals and elements,</li><li>hydrocarbons,</li><li>pesticides,</li><li>and others,</li></ul></li><li>physical parameters,</li><li>disinfection by-products (including haloacetic acids (HAA), trihalomethanes (THM), NDMA, bromate, bromide, chlorate and chlorite),</li><li>microplastics,</li><li>expiration date,</li><li>packaging materials.</li></ul>

<h3>Naravne mineralne in izvirske vode, namizne vode</h3>Izvirska voda&nbsp;je&nbsp; izvirno čista naravna voda, dobimo pa jo iz podzemnih naravnih vodonosnikov, iz enega ali &nbsp;iz več naravnih ali vrtanih izvirov, zavarovanih pred vsemi vrstami onesnažitev. Sestava, temperatura in ostale lastnosti izvirske vode morajo biti stalne v okvirjih naravnih sprememb. Ne smejo se spreminjati v primeru spremembe izdatnosti izvira. Izvirske vode, kot tudi naravne mineralne, ne smemo dezinficirati, niti jim ne smemo spreminjati kemično sestavo. Razen za pitje, izvirsko vodo lahko uporabljamo za proizvodnjo brezalkoholnih napitkov. Izvirski vodi lahko dodamo ogljikov dioksid, ki ga na deklaraciji označimo kot “izvirska voda z dodanim ogljikovim dioksidom”.&nbsp;Naravna mineralna voda&nbsp;izvira iz podtalnih vodonosnikov, zavarovanih pred vsakršno onesnažitvijo, dobimo pa jo iz enega ali več naravnih ali vrtanih izvirov. Odlikuje se s svojimi organoleptičnimi in fizikalno-kemičnimi lastnostmi. Blagodejno učinkuje na človeški organizem, ker vsebuje mineralne snovi in elemente v sledovih, ki jih človeški organizem ne proizvaja. Sestava, temperatura in ostale lastnosti naravne mineralne vode morajo biti stalne, oziroma v okvirju naravnih sprememb, zlasti pa v primeru zvečanja izdatnosti izvira. Sestava vsake naravne mineralne vode je specifična, odvisno od geološke strukture tal.&nbsp;Namizna voda&nbsp;je kemično in/ali mehanično prečiščena voda, pridobljena iz vode za pitje z dodatkom ene ali več dovoljenih snovi zaradi izboljšanja organoleptičnih lastnosti. Vodi za pitje je v postopku priprave namizne vode dovoljeno dodajanje naslednjih snovi: natrijevega klorida, kalcijevega klorida, natrijevega karbonata, kalcijevega karbonata, natrijevega hidrogenkarbonata, magnezijevega karbonata, natrijevega sulfata, magnezijevega sulfata, natrijevega fluorida in ogljikovega dioksida. Vse dodane snovi morajo ustrezati zahtevam za uporabo v prehrambni industriji v skladu s posebnimi predpisi.&nbsp;Plasma na trgu naravnih mineralnih, izvirskih in namiznih voda je urejen z Zakonom o poljedelstvu (Zakon o poljoprivredi) in s Pravilnikom o naravnih mineralnih, naravnih izvirskih in namiznih vodah (Pravilnik o prirodnim mineralnim, prirodnim izvorskim i stolnim vodama). <h3>Prirodne mineralne i izvorske vode, stolne vode</h3>Izvorska voda je&nbsp; izvorno čista prirodna voda, a dobiva se iz podzemnih ležišta iz jednog ili više prirodnih ili bušenih izvora zaštićenih od svih vrsta onečišćenja. Sastav, temperatura i ostale značajke izvorske vode moraju biti stalne u okviru prirodnih promjena. Ne smiju se mijenjati u slučaju promjene izdašnosti izvora. Izvorske se vode, kao i prirodne mineralne, ne smiju dezinficirati, niti im se smije mijenjati kemijski sastav. Osim za piće izvorska voda može se upotrebljavati za proizvodnju bezalkoholnih napitaka. Izvorskoj vodi može se dodavati ugljični dioksid što se na deklaraciji označava kao “gazirana izvorska voda”.&nbsp;Prirodna mineralna voda izvire iz podzemnih ležišta zaštićenih od svakog onečišćenja, a dobiva se iz jednog ili više prirodnih ili bušenih izvora. Odlikuje se svojim organoleptičkim i fizikalno-kemijskim osobinama. Ima blagotvoran učinak na ljudski organizam jer sadrži mineralne tvari i elemente u tragovima koje čovjekov organizam ne proizvodi. Sastav, temperatura i ostale značajke prirodne mineralne vode moraju biti stalne, odnosno u okviru prirodnih promjena, a posebno u slučaju povećanja izdašnosti izvora. Sastav svake prirodne mineralne vode specifičan je, a vezan je za geološku strukturu terena.&nbsp;Stolna voda je kemijskim i/ili mehaničkim pročišćena voda proizvedena od vode za piće s dodatkom jedne ili više dopuštenih tvari u svrhu poboljšanja organoleptičkih svojstava. Dopušteno je vodi za piće, u svrhu proizvodnje stolne vode, dodavanje ovih tvari: natrijevog klorida, kalcijevog klorida, natrijevog karbonata, kalcijevog karbonata, natrijevog hidrogenkarbonata, magnezijevog karbonata, natrijevog sulfata, magnezijevog sulfata, natrijevog fluorida i ugljičnog dioksida. <h3>Surface and underground waters</h3>Surface waters represent watercourses located on the Earth's surface and contain various suspended substances. Since they are located on the surface, rainwater runoff from houses, gardens, industrial plants, roads and parking lots can contaminate its contents and affect not only its purity but also the life present in it. In general, surface waters can be characterized according to the manner of their origin and spatial location or according to the type of their flow and are divided into flowing (mountain streams, mountain rivers, lowland rivers) and stagnant (lakes, swamps, ponds, seas).Unlike surface water, underground water is found below the Earth's surface in the pores and cracks of the soil and rocks, making up 30% of the total amount of fresh water on Earth. Due to their location, they move solely due to the action of gravity and the difference in potential, so in most cases they are liquid, although there are also stagnant ones. They move relatively slowly through the pores in the rocks and follow the sudden slope of the water surface. Since groundwater is often cheaper, more convenient and less susceptible to pollution than surface water, it is most often used for public water supply. <h3>Površinske i podzemne vode</h3>Površinske vode predstavljaju Sve vode na površini Zemlje koje nalazimo u potocima, rijekama, ribnjacima, jezerima, močvarama, močvarnom tlu, kao i u snijegu i ledu. Budući da se nalaze na površini, otjecanje kišnice iz kuća, vrtova, industrijskih postrojenja, cesta i parkirališta može kontaminirati njen sadržaj i utjecati ne samo na njenu čistoću već i na život prisutan u njoj. &nbsp;Podzemne vode se za razliku od površinskih nalaze ispod Zemljine površine u porama i pukotinama tla te stijenama tvoreći tako 30 % ukupne količine slatke vode na Zemlji. Budući da su podzemne vode često jeftinije, prikladnije i manje osjetljive na onečišćenje od površinske vode, najčešće se koriste za javnu vodoopskrbu. <h3>Površinske in podzemne vode</h3>Površinske vode predstavljajo vodotoke, ki se nahajajo na Zemljinem površju ter vsebujejo razne suspendirane snovi. Ker se nahajajo na površju, odtekanje deževnice iz hiš, vrtov, industrijskih obratov, cest in parkirišč lahko kontaminira sestavo površinskih voda in vpliva ne samo na njihovo čistočo, ampak tudi na življenje, ki se nahaja v njih. Površinske vode lahko splošno karakteriziramo po načinu njihovega nastanka in prostorski lokaciji ali glede na tip njihovega poteka in jih delimo na tekoče (gorski potoki, reke v hribih, reke v nižinah) in stoječe vode (jezera, močvirja, luže, morja).&nbsp;Podzemne vode se za razliko od površinskih nahajajo izpod Zemljinega površja v luknjah in razpoklinah tal ter sten, ter obsegajo 30 % skupne količine sladke vode na Zemlji. <h3>Pool and thermal mineral waters</h3>Pool water is water in pools for swimming, bathing and medical rehabilitation. The health suitability of swimming pool water in Croatia is prescribed by the Ordinance on the sanitary-technical and hygienic conditions of swimming pools and on the health suitability of swimming pool water. In order to keep the water in the pools microbiologically correct, the pool water is disinfected, most often with chlorine-based agents. However, the chlorination of pool water in reaction with organic and inorganic substances can create a wide range of disinfection byproducts (such as trihalomethanes), and the main source of organic substances in swimming pools are, on the one hand, substances present in the water used to fill the pool and, on the other body substances such as urine, sweat and skin lipids and cosmetics, so bathers are the main precursors to the formation of disinfection by-products in swimming pools. In the Republic of Croatia, as well as in some EU member states, the defined maximum permissible concentration (MPC) for total trihalomethanes is 100 μg/L, in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization. The Rulebook on certain forms of health services provided in the field of health tourism and the standards and norms for their performance prescribes the criteria for testing thermomineral waters.&nbsp;The Sample control laboratory conducts a large number of tests of microbiological and physical-chemical indicators in pool and thermal mineral waters using various methods and techniques.

<h3>Bazenske i termomineralne vode</h3>Bazenska voda jest voda u bazenima za plivanje, kupanje i medicinsku rehabilitaciju. Zdravstvena ispravnost bazenskih voda u Hrvatskoj propisana je Pravilnikom o sanitarno-tehničkim i higijenskim uvjetima bazenskih kupališta te o zdravstvenoj ispravnosti bazenskih voda. Da bi se voda u bazenima održala mikrobiološki ispravnom, bazenske se vode dezinficiraju, najčešće sredstvima na bazi klora. Međutim, kloriranjem bazenskih voda u reakciji s organskim i anorganskim tvarima može nastati širok spektar nusprodukata dezinfekcije (kao što su na primjer trihalometani), a glavni izvor organske tvari u bazenima su s jedne strane tvari prisutne u vodi kojom se bazen puni i, s druge strane, tjelesne tvari poput urina, znoja i lipida kože te kozmetičkih preparata, pa su kupači glavni prekursori nastajanja nusprodukata dezinfekcije u bazenima. U RH kao i u nekim državama članicama EU-a, definirana maksimalno dozvoljena koncentracija (MDK) za ukupne trihalometane iznosi 100 μg/L, u skladu sa smjernicama Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije. Zdravstvena primernost bazenskih voda je na Hrvaškem <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="#_ftn1">[1]</a>predpisana v Pravilniku o sanitarno-tehničknih in higienskih pogojih bazenskih kopališč ter o zdravstveni primernosti bazenskih voda (Pravilnik o sanitarno-tehničkim i higijenskim uvjetima bazenskih kupališta te o zdravstvenoj ispravnosti bazenskih voda). Da bi ohranili mikrobiološko primernost vode v bazenih, bazenske vode dezinficiramo, najbolj pogosto s sredstvi na bazi klora. Toda v postopku kloriranja vode v bazenih v reakciji z organskimi in anorganskimi snovmi lahko nastenejo številni stranski produkti &nbsp;dezinfekcije (kot so na primer trihalometani), glavni vir organskih snovi v bazenih pa so po eni strani snovi prisotne v vodi, s katero polnimo bazen, po drugi strani pa &nbsp;telesne snovi, kot so urin, pot in kožni lipidi ter kozmetični pripravki, ter so tako kopalci glavni prekursorji nastajanja stranskih produktov dezinfekcije v bazenih. V RH kot tudi v nekaterih državah članicah EU, definirana maksimalno dovoljena koncentracija (MDK) za skupne trihalometane znaša 100 μg/L, v skladu s smernicami Svetovne zdravstvene organizacije. <h3>Preiskovanje voda</h3>Z vodo kot najbolj pomembnim virom, ki ga imamo, se ukvarjajo razni predpisi v mnogih deželah po vsem svetu. To se ne nanaša samo na pitno vodo, ampak na vse vodne vire (površinske in podzemne vode, vodo v obratih in odplake in t.n.).Kakovost vode je ključna za mnoge različne industrije in aktivnosti vseh dežel v svetu.Preiskave voda v Sample Control laboratorijih opravljamo s celo vrsto različnih metod - od številnih fizikalno-kemičnih, mikrobioloških analiz, analiz anorganskih spojin, kovin in težkih kovin, analiz organskih spojin, pesticidov in redkih ostankov.
