Water testing

Water, as the most important resource we have, is becoming the subject of various regulations in many countries of the world. This applies not only to drinking water, but to all water resources (surface and underground water, process and waste water, etc.).

Water quality is crucial for many different industries and activities in all countries of the world.

Water testing in Sample Control laboratories includes a whole range of different methods from numerous physical-chemical, microbiological analyses, analysis of inorganic compounds, metals and heavy metals, analysis of organic compounds, pesticides and rare residues. Tests are carried out according to the requirements of legal regulations, and according to the need and agreement with the clients, existing methods, their sensitivity are modified or new ones are developed.

It is vital that the water is properly sampled, transported and stored to ensure that the analysis results accurately reflect the parameters (analytes and physical properties of the water) that we are testing.

Employees are trained for sampling in all phases of the water supply system for human consumption, sampling of surface water, underground water and waste water.

As an accredited laboratory, the Sample control laboratory has a large number of accredited methods for testing and analyzing water, which includes:

  • Water for human consumption,

  • Natural mineral and spring waters, table water,

  • Surface and underground waters,

  • Sea water,

  • Thermomineral waters,

  • Pool water,

  • Process and technical water,

  • Waste water.

The sample control laboratory is authorized to test various types of water by the relevant Ministries of the Republic of Croatia.
