The Sample Control Laboratory is the leading private laboratory in Croatia in the field of testing food, feed, items of general use, cosmetics, packaging. It is also a laboratory that performs tests in the field of molecular analyses and analyses of the so-called rapid methods in the field of microbiology.

History

Sample Control was established in 2014 when it took over an accredited laboratory operating in the territory of Croatia since 2009. At the time of the takeover, the laboratory employed 5 employees for food and water testing in the field of microbiological and chemical analyses and it had 21 accredited methods.

Today

Today, the laboratory records continuous growth in the number of employees and conducts over 1000 testing methods in the area of its operations, most of which are accredited methods.

The laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipment, such as 2x HPLC-UV/FLD/RID, LC-GC-FID, GC-HS-FID, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, UPLC-MS/MS, AAS, HPLC-ICP-MS, LC-Orbitrap Exploris 120, GC-Orbitrap Q-Exactive.

In 2021, Sample Control grew by 117% compared to 2020, and employment increased by 50%.

Area of operations

The area of the laboratory operations has also expanded to nearby countries, so SAMPLE CONTROL d.o.o. today provides services to clients in Slovenia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Serbia, North Macedonia, Poland, United Kingdom...
